Frequently Asked Questions
How do I onboard my satellite?
Onboarding your satellite into Astralink, our proprietary, cloud-based mission control software suite, follows a four-step process to ensure compatibility with our software and ground infrastructure:
1. Capability assessment: We review mission requirements, satellite specifications, and supported protocols to confirm compatibility.
2. Setup and implementation: We configure required interfaces and integrate your satellite and mission control systems into Astralink.
3. Verification cycle: Controlled tests validate connectivity, data flow, and scheduling performance within the software environment.
4. Operational link-up: Once validated, your satellite is ready for operational scheduling and ground station access through Astralink.
What software do you use for integrations and pass scheduling?
We use Astralink, our proprietary, cloud-based mission control software suite.
Astralink is designed to adapt to customer systems and supports multiple communication and data transfer protocols.
Do you integrate ground stations from other operators?
Yes. Partner ground stations are integrated through a process that includes technical evaluation, onboarding through software and hardware integration, and testing to verify correct connectivity with Astralink for scheduling and operations.
More details are available on our Partners page.
Where are your ground stations located?
AST-EC-GS1: Latitude −0.195°, Longitude −78.046°
Equatorial Stargate: 0°26’19″N, 78°13’37″W
What is the operational timeline for the LatZero Link Network?
AST-EC-GS1 is currently operational. Equatorial Stargate is planned to become operational in Q4 2026. Additional sites will be incorporated into the LatZero Link Network as development and partnerships progress.
